Tesla: Glamorous event

The Science Center & Technology Museum “NOISIS”, tomorrow Saturday, March 3, at 7 pm, invites the public to showcase the operation of the Tesla coil, Volt 12 million and 4.5 meters high, and Theremin’s music concert with May Roosevelt. The event – with free admission – takes place in the framework of the exhibition “Nikola Tesla – The Man Who Inspired the Future”, which, due to its high public visibility and increased visibility, extends its operation until 31 May.

“Nikola Tesla – The Man Who Inspired The Future”

If inventions such as electricity, wireless technology, radar, X-rays and radio have been characteristically shaped in the 20th century, then “inventor of the 20th century” is Nikola Tesla. It is a complex personality that is remarkable both for its scientific and technological work and for the human values it advocates. He invented the alternating current and fought for his dissemination without aiming for financial gain. He used to use his patented ideas from others because he believed they did a good job. It discarded the evolution of applications that may have been devastating by misuse. He was concerned about praise and reputation and died poor and alone, leaving heritage technologies that are used today more than ever.

The project and the personality of this unique person is presented by the exhibition organized by the Science Center & Technology Museum “NOISIS” in cooperation with the Belgrade Nikolas Tesla Museum, emphasizing the elements of his vision and genius. The exhibition includes a combination of exhibits from scale models such as its Colorado Springs workshop, Niagara Falls hydroelectric plant, vertical take-off plane, and operational models of its inventions, such as the induction motor and the Tesla coil, up to visual and audio elements in information panels and video rooms.
